go carolina

this is one of my favorite jackets.  I love the 1950s high school feel.  I can just imagine a high school couple from some small town sitting in the stands at the football game, cheering for their favorite team. if you don't already know this (I feel like I tend to obsess) I love the midwest.

getting ready for fall!  these are men's shoes (shh) but I love topsiders.  I'm so happy it's almost fall; it means I can break out my old man sweater collection.  halloween is my favorite holiday, and I can't wait for all the costume parties, pumpkin carving, pumpkin spice, orange accents, masks, and overdoses of candy.

  5. Hey! Cute jacket (and great gams!). Hope you'll enjoy those shrimp tacos, and thanks for stopping by. You know, I heard recently that part of the interview process for Google involves them asking you what your favorite holiday is. Apparently "Halloween" is the only right answer, because highly creative people tend to favor it! I can tell from your blog that you fit that description, and I look forward to seeing what else you have in store!

  9. I absolutely love the 1950s! I picture myself meeting my boyfriend at the malt shop and leaning up against the jukebox trying to figure out what song to play. :) Also - if you love the midwest, I would happily trade you my apartment in wisconsin, for your apartment in los angeles. :)
