school's out forrevverr

there's an abandoned schoolhouse near my parents' house.  it was used in the mid-1800s, but was shut down more than a century ago. the only sound for miles is the creaking front door, which sways open and shut in the breeze.
welcome home, guillermo del toro.

sunglasses: vintage
necklace: from sabrina
tennis sweater: vintage
top: merona
shoes: gap

the dress is a vintage school uniform.  the now defunct company was founded by a japanese designer who made preppy clothes and then did a line of school uniforms.

every time I wear this sweater, I feel like marion davies.

  20. I love this place...such a great backdrop for your outfit. I always find it incredible when places like this are abandoned but no one tears them down. it's refreshing to think that it would be preserved but curious that it's also left to sort of disintegrate on its own.
